Hello friends, All around the neighborhood, squirrels are busy either eating or storing. Animal instinct is at play here, making sure the squirrels are both fat enough to survive colder conditions, and prepared with enough stashes that they can find enough food when it becomes more scarce. In my life, I’ve relied upon a strange combination of instinct, intuition, and planning. I like to have a plan, even knowing that my intuition may cause an immediate deviation. I loathe plans that are “up in the air” and have had to learn how to breathe through it, and remain open for what is to come. The world feels filled with that combination right now. So many of us are simultaneously living day to day, and making plans that may not come to fruition. We make plans for both the good and the bad, not knowing what the eventuality is. It requires a certain amount of steadiness and nimbleness to live in these times. It requires both intuition and planning. What are your senses telling you? What tugs at your subconscious, leading you to make this decision or that? What are your plans, and how flexible do they feel? How do you, like the squirrels, navigate the world? Best wishes — Thorn
