Healing

.

In this time of fading empire, Of violent uncertainty and the Giving way to new upheaval, Let it be known, let it ever always Be remembered:

This is the year the porpoises swam Through the Golden Gate. Spinning in the water, calf and mother, Heralds of some time we could not see.

Grey multitude returned To grace cold waters. What else came back, Without our noticing?

Time can heal. Time, effort, and the leaving things alone,

To make their way.
